Event Policies
These event policies are subject to change without notice by action of the RHAWA Board of Directors.
Cancellation / Refund Policy: For events that include food and / or beverage service, refunds will not be issued unless cancellation is received by phone or e-mail at least seven (7) days prior to the event. For programs that do not include food / beverage service, refunds will be issued if cancellation is received by phone or email at least 24 hours prior to the event.
Cellular Phones: All participants who bring cellular phones to RHAWA programs must keep them turned off during the presentation. No pictures or video are allowed to be taken.
Event Cancellation: On rare occasion, events may be cancelled or rescheduled due to insufficient registrations or other unforeseen circumstances. If an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified at least 24 hours before the start time and will receive a full refund.
Distribution of Materials: Digital and printed materials prepared by RHAWA are designed for and available only to participants attending such programs. The materials or portions thereof are not otherwise available for sale to individuals or educational institutions. Materials cannot be shared / hosted online, or otherwise distributed.
Miscellaneous: The prices, dates, locations, speakers and specifics of the presentations listed in the RHAWA CURRENT, Member Guide, and any other RHAWA publication / promotional materials are subject to change without notice. Event policies are in effect for all RHAWA sponsored events. RHAWA reserves the right to make speaker substitutions at any time without notification to registrants.
Registration: Registration for events may be made on the RHAWA website or by telephone with credit card. Payment must accompany each registration for each event. Walk-in participants will be admitted upon payment of fee and as space permits, and will receive printed materials if available. All registrants must prepay in full before admittance to any program.
Substitutions: Substitutions of registrants are permitted at all RHAWA events, seminars, and conferences. You must notify RHAWA 24 hours before the event.
Weather Cancellation Policy: In the case of snow, fog, and any other types of weather, as long as the speaker / instructor can arrive and teach the class and the facility is open and functioning, all events will take place.
