Family Business Succession Management
Online Only
Event Details
Many housing providers, large and small, function as a family business. As with any business, it is critical for rental property owners to have a thoughtful succession plan in preparation for retirement, illness or death. If your intention is to pass your rental properties on to children, it is never to early to start. Chris Benis and Julie Martiniello will discuss tips and best practices for family business succession planning from their perspectives as multi-generational housing providers and attorneys practicing landlord-tenant, real estate, business and estate planning law.
