How to Legally End a Tenancy
Online only
Event Details
Although the vast majority of tenancies end when the resident decides to move out, sometimes a rental owner has reasons to end it as well. Depending on the terms of your agreement, the local jurisdiction and why you want the tenant to move out, there are different procedures you must follow. RHAWA’s legal counsel, Chris Benis will explain the legal requirements and share his own methods for respectfully communicating with tenants.
