South Sound RHA PAC Fundraiser

This last fall Tacoma became the site for the most restrictive rental housing policy in Washington. Measure 1 was passed by a slim margin in November of 2023 and RHAWA was instrumental in a huge effort to educate voters on the negative effects of this measure on affordable rental housing in Tacoma. This effort included multiple weekends of doorbelling efforts, participation in a debate on Measure 1 and ongoing media engagement. Significant staff time and financial resources were dedicated to materials and messaging on this measure. 

This was the largest effort to defeat a ballot measure in RHAWA history and now we need your support to continue our fight against harmful policy in the City of Tacoma and Pierce County.
